So far here is a list of likes and dont likes: I love FSX depite all the issues but considering that we all watied for this new improved version to come out. To my surprize the same scenery error messages came back on start up along with the personal settings I had in the Box edition ( no longer on my system ) Anyway I played the simulator for about 15 min. I went through every folder I could find. It was suggested to reload FSX Steam to correct this issue. Looking into the forum I found many with the same problem. after takeoff here is the Runtime Error Visual CC++ R6025. Today When I turned on the computer and ran Steam FSX, within 5 min. I did so and Yesterday I ran test flights over this new scenery with no problem. No big deal as I had planned to load this Scenery into Steam. Further, The graphic settings I had set in the gold edition were copied into the Steam Automatically.
Once the Steam Edition was loaded and I ran a start-up I was getting Scenery error messages on Blue Sky scenery that I had loaded in the Box Gold edition on the separate drive.
I have a copy of FSX Gold Edition on Drive D: I loaded the Steam Edition on Drive C: Program (x86).
